Overview

Love your rig but don’t want to tackle the rugged San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountains alone? With 4x4 Guide Services you bring your own vehicle and tag along with an AIOA guide. You drive your own rig; we provide the route, the safety net, and the ultimate backcountry experience.

It is the same expert-led adventure as our signature tours — only you are behind the wheel of your own 4x4. Pick any of our four routes, gear up at staging, and save 30% off the standard tour price for supplying your own fuel and wheels.

The Setup

You drive your own 4x4 while our guide leads the way, sets the pace, and spots you through technical sections.

Best For

First-time Jeep owners building skills and seasoned wheelers exploring a new zone with a local expert.

Safety & Peace of Mind

Why Explore with an AIOA Guide?

Lone 4x4 negotiating a remote water crossing deep in the San Jacinto backcountry

Don’t Risk the Backcountry Alone

Venturing into remote mountain trails and high-desert passes can be unpredictable. Cell service drops, trails wash out, and navigation gets tricky.

As someone who loves getting out into the backcountry, this was hands-down one of the best off-road experiences I've had. The trails were incredible, the fleet was top-notch, and the guides made sure everyone was safe while still delivering total excitement. I'll definitely be bringing family back for another run!

The perfect mix of thrill and local heritage. Seeing the mountain landscape up close while learning about the deep history of the area gave the whole trip a unique depth you just don't get on standard tours. Professional, fun, and totally worth every second.
